Our Principles

Personalized. Practical. Flexible. Relational. Faith-Based.

We intentionally design each session around your goals.

From your very first appointment, we'll begin identifying practical steps toward meaningful change. Together, we'll create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, and each session will include a personalized plan to help you continue making progress. We'll check in at the beginning of every session to ask what you'd like to focus on that day while thoughtfully incorporating the goals we've established together.

We go beyond the session.

We use psychoeducation throughout sessions, helping you better understand yourself while teaching practical skills you can use in everyday life. You'll often receive handouts, worksheets, or exercises to practice between sessions because lasting growth happens both inside and outside the therapy room. Whether you made great progress or had a difficult week, we'll celebrate every step forward and approach setbacks with compassion because they're a normal part of the healing process.

We make sure the approach feels right for you.

Therapy should also be engaging and fit your personality and stage of life. For children and teens, we regularly incorporate art, crafts, games, and other creative activities into sessions to make learning and processing emotions more meaningful. We also offer walk-and-talk therapy for those who enjoy the healing benefits of being outdoors, as well as secure telehealth appointments for clients who prefer the convenience of meeting from home. No matter how we meet, our goal is to provide therapy that is personalized, practical, and designed to help you.

We meet you with grace and truth.

Throughout Scripture, we see that Jesus never minimized people's pain or rushed them through their suffering. He listened, showed compassion, wept with those who grieved, and met people with both grace and truth. We strive to follow His example by making space where your story is heard, your emotions and thoughts are not dismissed, and your experiences are explored without shame.
